Charming Hotel Astor is located in the centre of Vaasa. The privately owned hotel is of a high standard and all 49 rooms are individually decorated and all rooms are unique. As is the Finnish tradition, many rooms have their own sauna (superior room). The famous breakfast and brunch are served in the Gustavian-style decorated breakfast room.  
Mostly local products are used for our breakfast and brunch and oven-baked homemade cakes and pastries spread wonderful scents. The hotel’s quiet location and the customer focused service offered by the small family hotel is our strength.

Restaurant Strampen is located by the beautiful inner harbour in Vaasa, and is one of Finland's oldest restaurants with its over 150 year old history. The restaurant seats 220 people inside, and during summer we have an additional 400 seats on the terrace.

Wasaline is the northernmost shipping line in the world, which transports passengers and freight daily between Vaasa in Finland and Umeå in Sweden. The journey between Umeå and Vaasa takes only 3.5-4 hours with the new environmentally friendly Aurora Botnia.
